Corona virus

                                                    INTRODUCTION
Hello all, as you know, my name is Prinze. The topic on which I decided to discuss is ¨Corona virus¨ also known as ¨covid 19¨. The factors within my speech I'll be talking about, includes how it was formed, and how it impacted the world. I hope that by the end of my speech you will have learned more facts about the corona virus.

                                                     PARAGRAPH 1
Firstly, the outbreak of corona virus originated in Wuhan city, China, in a market. The virus was first discovered in early December last year and was soon under looked. Scientists do not yet know how it had been developed, however, some assume that it was manufactured by people eating animals which had carried a lot of diseases of many kinds. Although animals such as cats, bats, rats, baby crocodiles, pangolins and others were sold and eaten at the market. All the people who went to this market eventually got sick and Covid 19 was soon developed.

 As  days and months passed, the virus did as well. It had passed upon other people, then to other cities, which then led to other countries and eventually the whole world was in stake.. The outcome of the corona virus had once forced a nationwide lock down which occurred in many places - many places which are still in lock down today. The current global confirmed  cases of Covid 19  is 6.29m with 398k confirmed deaths, also global. The countries which had been affected majorly include Italy and America. Italy with 236k confirmed cases and 34114 confirmed deaths. And America with 2.03m confirmed cases and 114k confirmed deaths.
Another fact: Corona virus not only affected mankind, it also affected animals such as the lions, which had been held  in New York City Zoo.

NZ is one of very few countries to free itself from this virus. We did this by isolating ourselves and families from each other, making sure we cleaned our hands, wore masks and we shut down our workplaces. Doing this, stopped the virus from spreading.
From what we know from news reports, (NZ) and Australia are one of the  few successful countries which have been able to fight off the virus. Fiji has just about defeated corona virus - lucky for them.  Sadly, countries including the US are going through a hard time at this stage, as they are lifting up more cases and more deaths everyday. Until we find a vaccine, we are unknown to what will happen next

                                               CONCLUSION
I hope you have learned a little more information about Covid 19 and how easy it is to catch viruses from other animals on our planet;  and how it evolved and how it was created, and how it is important to clean our hands after handling animals. Thank you for listening to my speech.
